Project #4 - Kaleidascopes
I created these kaleidoscopes by copying and pasting one picture multiple times, then flipping the photos so that they all show radial balance in the middle. These were made using lightroom:
Project #4 - Contrast and Balance
In this project, we explored the uses of contrast (scale, size, value, shape, and texture) and balance (radial, symmetrical, and asymmetrical). I discovered different artists that used these different techniques, and found how to use them on my own. When making the kaleidoscopes, I found out how to create radial and symmetrical balance with any picture I wanted to. I had a really fun time making the kaleidoscopes because no matter what you did or how much you screwed up, they would always turn out to look very interesting.
