Community Project collage
I chose to take pictures that really captured the grey and brown color scheme of the Lincoln High School patio. It was pretty easy, since most things stay with the same colors. I combined some pictures to make it look like they were connected, such as the two pictures on the bottom right and the pictures of the wall on the middle-left. I worked on this project on my own, so I didn't have to collaborate with anyone to make decisions. A few of my photos were turned upside down or sideways to make it more interesting. I also included a few pictures with my friends in too. I took all of these pictures with my iPhone.

Project 8 Prework
Carbon transfer is a printing process that creates an image formed by a layer of hardened, pigmented gelatin on a surface which is usually paper. The surface on which the image is printed is normally referred to as the “support” because carbon images can be printed on a variety of surfaces such as glass, metal, and synthetic paper sheets. It can also be used on a variety of natural papers.

Daguerrotype Photos:
Daguerreotype photography was the first commercially successful photographic process in the history of photography. Named after the inventor, Louis Jacques Mandé Daguerre, each daguerreotype is a unique image on a silvered copper plate.
In contrast to photographic paper, a daguerreotype is not flexible and is rather heavy. The daguerreotype is accurate, detailed and sharp. It has a mirror-like surface and is very fragile. Since the metal plate is extremely vulnerable, most daguerreotypes are presented in a special housing.

Project #7 - Multiple Image Techniques
In this project, we learned how to stitch photos together, layer them on top of each other to merge them, and turn photos into an HDR photograph, all on photoshop. To create the stitched photos, I had to take three pictures next to each other of the same thing. From there on, I just opened them in photoshop and used the photo merger tool to stitch them together. To merge photos, I opened a photo on top of a different photograph and changed the opacity so that both photographs were visible. To create the HDR photograph, I went through several steps to develop the photo in photoshop.
